Very disappointed in the nutritional information provided. I need chicken free products due to a cat that has a chicken allergy. I was looking for soft treats that I could use to give my cat his daily medication (1/4 of a regular size pill so they are small). I’ve been having to use gel caps which is a real pain to get him to take and wanted something that would make it easier for both of us. These treats would have been perfect. The consistency and size would work great to hide his small pill into it. I’m glad I checked the nutrition again on the package I received. It has chicken flavor listed. This was not provided in the information on Chewy and if i had seen that I wouldn’t have purchased. I’m attaching photos, two from the Chewy site (red circle) and one from the package I received (blue circle). If you don’t need chicken free treats, then these look great. If you do then avoid these. Hopefully Chewy will update the site with the correct information. My other cat can have chicken so these won’t go to waste but I’m disappointed I can’t use them for the purpose I needed.
Apparently the ingredients were changed without any notice from Chewy or Tiki Cat. These now contain natural chicken flavor. I bought these because my cat has a chicken allergy and the ingredients in the product photo did not say anything about chicken. I read the package I got and the ingredients are different. This product listing is now incorrect. It’s no longer a chicken-free option. :(
These treats were my cat's favorite. She easily took her pills when I hid them in the treat. This was the only kidney friendly treats she would eat. Unfortunately Tiki changed the recipe. The color, scent, and texture are totally different. They are supposed to be soft and now they are hard and crumbly. She takes one sniff and walks away. I still have a bag of the tuna flavored treats of old recipe which she gobbles up. It's a bummer that it changed. Luckily the chicken flavor recipe has not changed....so far.
None 3 of my kitties like these. I wanted to try a soft/chewy treat for one of my boys, because he has bloody stools after eating crunchy food with corners. I struck out also with Temptations chewy treats. The search continues.
Ordered this as a replacement for some treats that were not welcomed by some picky cats. They enjoyed these! Finally something they like. Very happy with this purchase
My cats did not like these at all. They have sensitive stomachs and a chicken allergy, so I was happy to find these treats with no chicken. However, despite being very into treats, they would not eat these. Not sure if it’s the soft texture or the tuna flavor.
My kitty loves to eat these treats but she throws up every time we give them to her within 12 hours. Took us while to recognize the pattern but, it's definitely the treats
I thought I would try these soft chews for one of my kitties that does not eat crunchy treats, but unfortunately, he didn't go for these either.
My girl loves several Tiki Cat products, but she turned her nose up & wouldn't touch these :( I have to return them.
I needed a grain free treat and the fact that they are soft and chewy is an extra plus cause he has trouble eating kibble. He only gets one each meal, but it's a happy incentive. I bought both flavors - the tuna and the chicken and will keep them on Murrlin's autoship going forward.
