Learn More About Tiki Cat Veterinary Solutions From Our Team of Experts

Prey-Inspired Veterinary Diets

Tiki Cat Veterinary Solutions are formulated to help the most common medical conditions in cats: obesity, urinary tract disorders, diabetes, and IBD. Made with high-protein, low-carb, ultra-hydrating ingredients, they mimic cats' natural prey diet.

Inspired by Nature. Backed by Science.

Cats are obligate carnivores—in the wild, they get everything they need from prey. Cats today have the same nutritional needs and will naturally choose a diet close to that of natural prey: 52% protein, 36% fat, 60-80% moisture, and up to 12% carbs.

Real Food For Real Solutions

Made with real meat and fish in a savory broth, these prescription recipes are aromatic and highly palatable. Choose from GI-Health, pH-Balance, Gluco-Balance, and Lo-Calorie diets, or try Mousse Stix to help stimulate appetite.

The Vet Diets Cats Choose

Cats with medical needs can be selective about what they’ll eat. That's why tasty Veterinary Solutions come in two different flavors (chicken or fish) and three textures (flaked, shreds, or mousse) to satisfy even the pickiest cats.

About Tiki Cat Veterinary Solutions

Tiki Cat Veterinary Solutions offers prey-inspired prescription diet formulas made with high levels of protein and minimally processed ingredients. Each solution is formulated specifically to help manage the most common medical conditions in cats.

Not a hit

I ordered this brand for the first time, but my Vet wasn't fully supportive. The canned food appears like Chicken of the Sea, very dense with no liquid. I have to dilute it for cats to eat it. They aren't crazy about this brand.

This product is definitely not a mousse texture, as many others have said. It's quite dry and flaky. I had to add a lot of water to it to get it to a reasonable texture. But my cat would not eat it. I gave it 2 stars because the ingredients are much better than other "prescription" diets. If your cat likes dry, flaky food, then they might like this! Mine, however, did not.

Not a mousse unfortunately

This is not a mousse unfortunately. It’s like it’s finely minced and compacted together. The can is also unusually hard to open.

I’m sure it’s a great food. The ingredients look good. Just my cat is a kibble addict. So I’ll be donating this to my vet office. I thought he’d go crazy over the sea bass one. But he didn’t even smell it. Just walked away. Like I said I’m sure the food is fine. And tiki makes great high moisture products. My cats is picky.

Not a mousse at all

Was hoping my 17-year-old cat would eat this because I thought it was going to be smooth and creamy. Nope. Very dry. Someone else wrote that it has the same consistency

Was hoping my 17-year-old cat would eat this because I thought it was going to be smooth and creamy. Nope. Very dry. Someone else wrote that it has the same consistency as canned tuna. Spot on! Gave it an extra star because I like most of the ingredients...not the canola oil, tuna oil and gums.

Another WIN from Tiki Cat

My kitty Spenner pretty much exclusively eats Tiki’s Velvet Mousse food. He doesn’t have many teeth left and he can be pretty picky. He was recently diagnosed with some troubling GI issues, and our vet wanted to put him on prescription Royal Canin. I’ve had RC before and I’ve never had a cat who liked it. And with this current economy, I can’t afford to buy ridiculously expensive food my cat won’t eat. So color me thrilled to find out that Tiki Cat has a Veterinary GI line of food as well! I saw one of the options was a mousse texture, so I begged my vet to approve the swap, which she did. The texture of the canned “mousse” is not the same as the packet mousse, which concerned me at first. However, it doesn’t seem to bother Spenner at all! I mix in his meds with the Tiki Cat food, top with a little Churu, and he inhales all of it! It seems to be helping his GI issues, is much more affordable, and it’s from a brand we’re already very loyal to, so I’m just thrilled. So glad Tiki offers these veterinary options.

My cats hate it

I initially bought it for my cat with stomach troubles when she wouldn't eat it. So I tried the other the other two cats and no luck.

So right now this is new, and we know not everyone deals with change well. Mykal was already on Tiki Cat Purees, and he’s not completely in love yet so I’m transitioning him slowly a few bites in his regular food at a time. He will come around and reap the benefits soon.
