The Best Dog Treats

These are just the best dog treats ever, and we have had a lot of dogs and go through a lot of treats. Tilted Barn remain one of the only dog treats that all of our dogs will eat, even picky little seniors. *Tip for using these as "pill pockets" - you can heat a room temp treat in the microwave for about 8 seconds and they are soft enough to break apart and jam pills into. We've used these as "pill pockets" when every other method failed, and honestly I feel I should write to the company thanking them for the number of dogs they've kept alive with these used to deliver medication!

Tast - according to my dogs

One of my dogs isn't very food motivated so I struggle to find treats she likes. These are a winner. My only quibble or caution is that if you leave them out, at least in the summer, they will mold. I like to think that's because they are not full of preservatives and refrigeration solves the issue.

Doggy Nirvana

I give these to my friend's dog, Finn. I also give these out to my neighbors' dogs when they walk by. The dogs will now drag their owners over to my house while on their walk so that they can get one of these treats. I break the sticks into small bits so that the bag lasts longer. Sadly, I have to give the owners part of a stick to take with them or the dogs won't go home. Most owners have gone on to buy these treats so that they, too, can be idolized by their dog. All flavors are fantastic and they are a great way to get you out of the doghouse with your dog if you offer one to them after a fun-filled trip to the vet. Bribery with one of these is guaranteed to ease your betrayal.

Refrigerate after opening

The package says to refrigerate after opening because these are vacuum sealed with no preservatives. You can hear the seal break when you first open them. Without refrigeration, they will grow mold like all natural foods. They do get a little firm from the refrigeration but are still chewy. My dogs love these.

Refrigerate!

Dogs love these, and I love the simple ingredients but just had to toss two packs due to the fact that I did not see the note about refrigeration. Perhaps the manufacturer could rethink the design for those of us with not so great eyesight…

I was unsure now Im ordering!

I was at a dog park and a young lady approached me and offered me a free sample of the Beef flavor. I thought it was another gimmick, but she was very sweet and honest. She told me how these treats are all natural, and come in two flavors! I took the sample and thought I would try it at home. I started training the simple things like sit and stay, but now she wants "training time" everyday! The only thing that's a problem is my dog knows where they are and will "sit" in front of the refrigerator, waiting.... she's trained!

Picky treat eater loves these!

My dog is SUPER picky when it comes to treats. But she loved these as soon as she tried it! They are chewy. So it takes her some time to eat these. A woman handed these out at the dog beach and we’ll definitely buy these in the future.
