This is an amazingly versatile dog bed/ organizer / sleeping bag! The materials are excellent quality, and I can tell this product will hold up. I purchased the size medium so that both of my pugs can share it. One likes to sleep inside the sleeping bag, and the other on top. I think what could make this product even better is creating a feature for a tent pole to insert into the opening of the sleeping bag to create a dome that makes it easier for the pup to crawl in and out. But this is a top notch product!

Saw a friend take this on a camping trip to Yosemite a few months ago, and knew I had to get one for myself. After a few weeks of using it, I can say this is hands down the best dog bed I've bought (after having tried countless others, month after month)! Timberdog's RuffRest is incredibly simple and has so many features that make it easy to use and simple to travel with. The sherpa fleece is soft on our dog's body (they weren't kidding about the high R-Value!), and even has a built-in pillow and sleeping bag. I've been travelling with it ever since... taking it through TSA has been really easy, and the organizer detaching to hang onto the back of a door was a really great touch. One of my favorite features is the leash with reflective straps... no more losing a leash and buying a new one every few months; with RuffRest, it's an all-in-one!

My 16 month old pug puppy Oakley absolutely loves to nap on this wonderful orthopedic bed. He was using a blanket on the floor beside his Dad while he worked and he would change positions a lot..... not with this! The fact that is orthopedic seems to have made it very comfortable as he goes to sleep easily and stays in the same position for long periods of time. This especially helped during his recovery from an injury while he had to have a cone on.

This bed is a versatile, rugged piece of gear. Every detail is thoughtful and well executed. It looks and feels nicer than most of my own camping gear. That being said, our primary use for this bed is to provide my recently adopted 9# terrier his own spot within my sleeping space. It works perfectly for that purpose. The top cover is easy for my dog to manipulate on his own so he can burrow in, lay on top, or whatever in between. I look forward to taking it on long car rides or multi-day trips. I like knowing he’ll have a comfortable and familiar place when other things around him are suddenly brand new.
