This Food Caused Diarrhea in 9 of Foster Cats

BEWARE! THIS FOOD CAUSES HORRIBLE DIARRHEA. So I’m not sure if there was a recipe change or something because I heard good things about this food before trying it. I bought 6 cases since it is so reasonably priced and my fosters go through food like crazy. Bad choice. Within two days everyone (4 separate litters across two foster homes plus one resident cat) had liquid diarrhea. We ran fecals, GI PCR tests, gave medicine, antibiotics, probiotics and fiber supplements to stop the litter box disasters. We literally ruled out anything else it could be, spending precious rescue funds on testing and medication, and landed on this food being an issue. Switched the kittens and cats back onto Merrick wet food and the diarrhea resolved within 24 hours. I didn’t save any money buying this food because I had to spend so much money ruling out everything else it could be. My fosters have had similar GI reactions to cheap foods like friskies and fancy feast, but I expected a chewy brand item to be better quality. Very disappointed and now I have 2 cases of this food that I cannot use on my fosters because of the GI upset. Learn from my mistakes. Don’t sacrifice quality for price. It’s not worth it. What this food causes is not worth it.

No go for my foster kitten

I'm caring for a foster kitten until she goes to her forever home. All my cats are adults and seniors, so I wanted to get her some special kitten food for her. I liked the ingredient list of tiny tiger, and I liked what it DOESN'T have. Unfortunately, this kitten wouldn't eat it. She'll eat my cats food of another brand of kitten food, but won't eat this. Even my adults won't eat it but this didn't surprise me because they won't eat the adult version and even turn their nose up at the treats by tiny tiger. Don't ask me why.

Quality Food at an Inexpensive Price

I purchased eight varieties of pate cat food with no grains. Surprisingly, the least expensive is one of my cat's favorites. They love the chicken, turkey and beef.

Great food for our great cat

#ReceivedFreeProduct Our cat is fairly picky and and we have tried many types of wet food for her, in addition to her dry food. We have found a couple that she likes, but many more that she doesn't seem to care for. This Tiny Tiger chicken pate is right up her alley. She gets excited when she hears the opening of the can and chows down as soon as it's in her dish. The first and main ingredient is chicken, which we like, and so does she. It's complete with protein, amino acids, vitamins, and minerals. We feel good about giving her this food knowing it's made from quality ingredients and not artificial or mainly grain based. I also like that the portion is large. She will eat a good amount at first, then go back periodically the rest of the night to finish the rest off. Her energy seems good and she is happy, which is what we care about most. Overall great cat food.

#ReceivedFreeProduct My cat has enjoyed eating this. The cans are 3 ounces and that's perfect for him for a serving he eats it all up and doesn't leave anything behind. I like that this isn't super wet it was the perfect combination. This case comes with 24 cans which is really great I do like to buy in bulk like this instead of single cans at a time. I watched my cat for days after adding this to his diet and it didn't upset his stomach or change his bowels. I am very happy with this food and he loves the taste.

I Resorted to trickery

This gets eaten if i mix it with fancy feast grilled otherwise a no go. Not sure why but its all good to me if it gets eaten.

Quality cat food!

#ReceivedFreeProduct I have really picky girls, a bit on the skinny side even though I let them free feed on dry food and give them small cans of wet food twice a day. They’re really picky but they seem to love pate and sometimes chunky canned food. This being a pate, I was really hoping they’d like it so they can put on a little bit of weight and they took to it right away. They finish it pretty quickly and never seem to get sick of it either. The look of the food is nice and juicy, a little bit of extra gravy always drips out at the end and it’s properly thick, not runny. It crumbles easily, no large clumps, and it smells really good for a cat food. I’d love to keep this on hand as long as needed since it can be tough to find a brand/flavor they like consistently.

Food is devoured before the can hits the trash can, and has even got our elder cat interested in her food again; We pour the gravy from this food on her normal food, and she will actually eat!

Kittens Love It!!

#ReceivedFreeProduct My kitten have been very picky when it comes to wet food. They want it every morning, but some brands they don't touch. This was a hit the minute it hit their plates. Both of them chewed down on their half of the can and if the other got finished first they would stick a paw out and pop the other to get away it was their. This will be a staple in our house for them.
