I have a household full of cats and all of them went nuts over this food. Young kitties to old chow down. They seem to like it better than cat chow. One of my kitties is getting over a cold and will eat this food when he won’t eat much else. The house cats like the size of the kibble and the chicken flavor. I like that the bag is that plastic type material and not the cheap paper kind so no starving kitties can break through.
Not a Good Choice for Senior Kitties
This food seemed like a good value and was very affordable. Unfortunately, after a few weeks on it my five senior cats (Ranging Ages 12 to 16 years), seem to be having clicking joints, dull coats and are much less active. Seemed to be an increase in puking especially one of my long hairs. Once going back to another indoor/senior food they are improving. Perhaps this is good for younger cats, but isn't a good choice for my cranky old ladies.
My cats love it
My 4 cats (ranging from 2 years old to 13 years old) love this food. I was leery about it, but the reviews seemed good, and with 4 hungry little mouths to feed I have been spending a lot to keep up. I was nervous that it might upset their stomachs and 2 of them already vomit easily. Well, this food is really great. The vomiting has cut way back, not cleaning up vomit from my floor 3 times a day is wonderful, in fact they aren't vomiting daily anymore. They seem happier and more playful, my older babies are back to running around the house and getting into mischief (not a good thing but nice that they are happy). My kitties have been raised on Purina and Purina One until 2 years ago when I noticed that they were getting sick multiple times a day (I mean like 4 to 5 times). The Vet said they're healthy, switch foods try grain free. I tried a very expensive brand (Rachel Rae's grain free) a few times and they still vomited a few times daily. There is another Purina Brand and I don't remember the name, but it was >$30 for a 16 lb bag and I gave that away, because they started vomiting all over the house again (it was truly horrendous). So this is like a little miracle. Food makes a difference and sometimes the cost is a benefit as well. So from: Midnite, BoJangles, Spice and Shuga Thank you for the happy tummies and energy. From their furless mom: thank you for happier kitties and calm tummies. Great product and I truly do recommend this product.
Cats won't eat it
None of my 3 cats will touch this which is a real bummer because that was a big bag
Good food, bad bag
My tiny tigers love this food. Since they are barfers and finding one they like with no artificial coloring is hard. This one they do. Only criticism is that the bag isn't as sturdy as Purina One bags. I put it in a cupboard, the bag rubbed on a hinge and ripped easily, messy and wasteful.
Dry Cat Food
I guess I was hoping it was grain free. My one cat eats the grain free Tiny Tiger wet mix. This however, seems to upset his belly, but we now feed it to the strays. I guess I assumed and should have looked to be sure it said grain free.
Kitties like it
The kibbles in this food are much smaller and thinner than the other brand of food that I buy. I think my oldest cat especially likes that, because it's easier for her to eat. I mix two brands together (this one with Cat Chow Naturals Original Dry Cat Food) and I have to fill the bowl frequently, especially now that it's winter, because they are eating like newborn piglets. I haven't noticed any issues with their digestive system... no vomiting, no runny poo, so I take that as a good sign.
When only the best will do!
My cats love this dry food and so do the outside cats I feed; word gets around.
They like it!
Happy with the delivery, price and most important our two cats love it!
Only a few outside strays eat this
My cats won't eat this but with all the corn in it and only chicken meal and no actual chicken, I'm glad they won't eat it. I won't buy ever again
