What is Tiny Tiger? Where is it manufactured?
Tiny Tiger is a cat food and treats brand that is currently sold on Chewy.com. Tiny Tiger follows strict quality standards and FDA regulations and is manufactured in Kansas and Canada with ingredients from around the world.
Do the cans contain BPA?
No, the cans are BPA non-intent.
How do I open the can?
The cans have pull tabs for easy opening (similar to a can of soup).
What do I do with leftover food in the can?
Cover the top of the can and place in the refrigerator. For maximum taste and freshness, serve the leftover food within 3 days of opening.
What if my cat doesn’t like the food when it’s cold?
Place food in a microwave safe dish and cover. Microwave for 15-20 seconds. Stir the food to ensure it’s heated evenly. Before serving, smooth food with a utensil to increase your pet’s ability to lap up their food.
How do I best serve my cat their food?
Empty desired amount into your pet’s serving dish and smooth out the food using a utensil.
How do I identify what protein my cat will enjoy?
It’s important to pay attention to your cat’s behavior as you try new proteins. Some cats are picky and only like one specific protein such as fish or poultry. Once you understand what your cat likes, it’s best to stick to food purchases within that protein family, in order to increase enjoyment of the food by your cat.
How do I identify what wet cat food format my cat will like?
- Since cats prefer to lap their food, they will likely prefer a soft paté or minced chunks in gravy. The loaf format is easy for the cat to lick, and the food will stick to the grooves on their tongue.
- Paté format is a great choice for senior cats or kittens that may have a harder time chewing small meat chunks in a chunks in gravy format.
- If your cat prefers a chunks in gravy format and has no issue with chewing the small meat chunks, then this is a great option for your cat.
Where are the ingredients sourced?
Tiny Tiger ingredients are sourced from reputable suppliers in the US and worldwide, dependent upon availability.

Cats Love It
By KellyS on Feb 11, 2021
I recently ordered the Tiny Tiger brand of wet food, because my usual Purina Beyond kind was out of stock and I was almost out and couldn't wait for it to come back into stock. My cat - who is 20 and very particular about her food - has been ravenously gobbling it up! We were trying to get her to put some weight back on, as she was getting a little skinny in her old age. This food has done the trick, because she has probably doubled her food intake with this stuff. I'd give her a bit and she'd scarf it down, go take a nap, then she'd sit by her dish staring at me like "excuse me, why isn't this dish full of that yummy food?" until I gave her more. I'd call it a win. I don't mind, because the wet food was mostly just a treat for them and a necessity for their sister, so I'm fine with it. … more

Excellent Choice
By Ronee on Feb 9, 2021
My cats were used to another national brand, but that company had "logistic" problems and there was none to be had. So, with the suggestion of a Chewy person, I tried their version of basically the same wet food. My cats had no problem eating it. And, it is half the price.

Food is fine, picky cats just don't like it!
By Patti on Jan 15, 2021
My cats have been THE WORST food critics of any cats I've had since I was 18, and I'm not saying my age now but lets say I've had alot of csts! Lol. They finally settled down with this brand and specifically 2 flavors of it, Salmon wasn't one of the the org. But I wanted to add a little more variety so I got the Salmon flavor and unfortunately they haven't liked it from the start!

No go for my cat
By cfee337 on Dec 14, 2020
I purchased 2 24-can cases of Tiny Tiger (one the salmon and one of the chicken pate) when they were on special during Black Friday. I was really hoping my cat would eat this and was thrilled when she ate the first can from each case. Unfortunately that was it. She won't touch it now. If i give her Tiny Tiger, she refuses to eat it and walks away hungry. One or two days I waited to see if she'd eat it eventually but after a few hours it was obvious she wasn't going to eat it. Tiny Tiger just is not her cup of tea. Other kitties may love it. You never know what they like until you try it! We're back to her old more expensive favorite.

Economical
By Mick on Jan 30, 2021
This flavor of Tiny Tiger is well received by my cats. Other flavors, not so much. I buy it with Fussy Cat and alternate the two. It's well priced, and both of my cats have bright eyes, glossy fur, and are wonderfully healthy, happy, and active.

Cats said no
By AlexM on Feb 13, 2021
I researched for a bit before picking this but it was a no for the kitties. One won't even try it and the other (who eats everything and always hungry) will only eat 1/4 of it and then walks away.

New for us but the kittys like it.
By Kathymom2 on Dec 2, 2020 top500Contributor
Just started to feed the Tiny Tiger grain-free canned food to my 8 yr old and my 6 month old. They both like the variety pack that I got. The small can is just enough for them to have a little meat in their diet daily. They finish all of it and are ready for more the next day. Doesn't have the terrible smell that some canned food does, but it is still cat food. Jasmine and Jasper give it 2 paws up!!

No go for my cat either
By attydot on Jan 5, 2021
I purchased a 24 can case of seafood varieties. My 13 yr old Cosmo who is not a fussy eater as long as it is fish in some form would not touch any of the 4 varieties.

Thank you Chewy!
By Katie on Nov 13, 2020
I have an extremely fussy diabetic senior cat. I have been hoping from food to food trying to find something she would eat. I got a few flavors of this brand on a sale and I was so pleased when she INHALED the salmon flavor. She loves this flavor so much.

By BSNN on Dec 29, 2020
My cats seem to like this. Have been using the Tiny Tiger chunks in gravy, and decided to give the pate' a try. So far, so good.
