I purchased 5 large antlers for $55 recently and am honestly shocked at how horribly they held up to an hour of chewing.
In the past, I always got actual antlers from acquaintances that deer hunted or shed hunted. It took my dogs many hours to get halfway through an antler of this width and general size. It took them only an hour to chew close to half these antlers away. Additionally, I understand that chewing treats similar to an antler will usually break up into small pieces. But after letting my dogs chew these for an hour, there were hundreds (not even an exaggeration) of teeny little antler specks all over their dog beds which was very difficult to get off/out of the fabric. If you can, I would definitely suggest getting authentic antlers straight off a skull rather than buying this product. You can get the real deal for much cheaper in rural areas anyways. In the future, I think I will post in a local internet group to purchase fresh antlers in bulk as they last way longer and are clearly higher quality!… more
Picture of Product Not Accurate
on Jun 2, 2020
Looking at the price and picture shown of the product, I decided to try it. Got the bag in and had 2 bones that look big around enough for the XL dog breeds, but a short 6 inches. The remaining 3 bones are much thinner and 6 inches as well. The length does not bother me as much as getting a bone that is as thick around as quarter for 3 of the bones while the other two are as big around as a hot dog bun with hot dog in it. I was hoping for more consistency with the pictured product.
Exactly as advertised, but dogs won't touch them

We have three dogs of varying ages, sizes, and degrees of interest in chewing things. All three, however, are usually pretty excited to get a higher quality chew. Not these. I gave this item three stars because it is exactly what it is advertised to be, but I can't recommend them, because my dogs want nothing to do with them. Big waste of money for us. They responded to these as they do to the big, heavy rubber dog toys they also want nothing to do with. I would imagine those taste and smell like a tire, though, so I was surprised to get that reaction to something like this.
Continues to keep my dogs busy!

I have two dogs, a lab mix and a pit bull mix. They're 60 and 55 lbs. These were the best price I could find for antlers out there. My dogs love them, and chew them till they get too small and I have to toss them, which takes weeks. It's not easy finding a bone they won't loose interest in, but they always come back to these antlers. They're strong and the perfect size. Highly recommend.
Not as big as I thought

They were really small under 5inches long and some were so small around that my large dogs would of chocked on them. About two were ok out of whole bag.
For the serious chewer

I've gotten the large Deer Antlers and some are small that only last my pups a day or 2, but these bad boys my pups keep chomping away and it's still there. Great for the bigger pups like mine, a Pitbull, German Shepherd, and a Boerdoel.
Antler dog treats

My young 2 year old lab mix , was able to chew the antler to splintering too quickly. Make sure you watch your dog right from the time you offer the antler. I had to take it away, and throw it in the trash. I have hesitated to to give her another. I also thought they were going to be a larger size. I think the price for what you receive is Very reasonable.
Too Small - Misleading

This would have been a great product if the antlers were actually large. I got 2 large, 2 medium and a small.... very disappointed and will be the last time I order antlers from chewy.

The longest antler in the bag is four inches. Way smaller than advertised. Disappointed! Poor value for the price.
Size is too small
on Jan 25, 2020
The size of the antlers was smaller than expected. They were supposed to be large antlers. Only one in the bag of five that was an ok size. Our big dog has a hard time holding onto them.
