Best grazing muzzle!
By Judyo on Aug 25, 2020
Besides price, this grazing muzzle works the best for my horses! The opening is a bit bigger so they can get a little more grass. They seemed to adjust much easier, some of the other one have an opening about the size of a quarter. It will last about two years because the hole will start to get larger. May need some fleece wrap if they start to get rubs on face, but that will be an issue with all grazing muzzles.

Would not recommend
By Kali on Aug 16, 2020
I got this to help restrict grazing for my horse with Cushing. Its fit nicely. Within 30 minutes the basket part ripped off, hanging by two pieces of material. Upon further inspection, what gave way was thin stitching. My horse was simply grazing. He wasn't rough with it. Absolute waste of 30 bucks.

Abrasive horse muzzle
By HorseMuzzle on Oct 14, 2020
My horse got a sore on his chin from using this muzzle, the interior strapping where it attaches to the rubber is very abrasive. The muzzle worked well otherwise, if something could be done to smooth out the interior on the bottom it would be a big improvement.

Laminitis-Prone Mareis Back Out in Pasture
By Nope on Jun 26, 2020
One of our mares deals with chronic laminitis in the warmer months, which unfortunately results in her being restricted to the dirt lot for 3-4 months out of the year. We decided to give this muzzle a try due to the excellent reviews. Our mare is very sassy, so we were concerned that she would not tolerate it, but she was out in pasture and acclimated within 10 minutes. The muzzle is very well made and has a lot of adjustments to make it a great fit. It is easy to put on and our girl seems extremely comfortable in it. It is wonderful to see her back out in pasture with her sister and enjoying controlled amounts of grass. Would highly recommend this product!

Best muzzle!!!
By NancyH on Sep 2, 2020
I had purchased a much more expensive muzzle that lasted for 2 days and left sores on my hefty boy’s face. This one stays on and my boy is much happier. I have the same one for my pony. She loves it as well!

fits great, works well!
By nottasty on Jun 11, 2020
Our mini is a houdini. always getting out of his blankets and fly masks so I wasn't sure a grazing muzzle would work, but... after one day he learned to eat in it and it stays on him! It hasn't rubbed hair off anywhere on his face and he's been in it up to 12 hours a couple of days. I definitely would recommend this for anyone turning a fat mini out with their large horses.

Huge help for our mare
By TexasTK on Jun 16, 2020
We purchased this on the recommendation of my daughter, a Veterinarian. Our mare foundered and every year we struggle with managing her. This grazing muzzle is a relief. She took a few days of supervised grazing, a few hours at a time, to acclimate to it, and we watched for any signs of soreness. The grass here is drying up and is less of a problem now but we are still being cautious. The muzzle gives her plenty of breathing room, she can drink with it and actually played in the pond with the others. We do NOT leave it on all the time. Good purchase.

Very happy with it
By Rocky on May 17, 2020
I LIKE the velcro on the top for breakaway safety! Get it adjusted to fit properly & then just put on & off over the ears & latch/unlatch with the snap at the throatlatch. (like many flat halters are). Allows my mares to do some grazing but over indulge. Doesn't work well with hay, but that is ok - I just need to keep them out of the sugar of the pastures.

Only good for 1 year
By Sarah on Jun 8, 2020
Used for 4 months last year and it worked great. Brought it out this year and within two weeks of using it 3 nights/week the grazing hole broke and is getting bigger. I guess for $35 it can be purchased every year.

Great product!
By Msanders on Jul 5, 2020
Great product! Only lasts about a year and a half before the hole gets bigger and breaks, but for the price, I’ll just keep buying.
