Stands up to salt and weather.

I switched to these after going through numerous metal holders in my run in sheds. Even coated metal rusted out after a year with the salt and moisture . This one

I switched to these after going through numerous metal holders in my run in sheds. Even coated metal rusted out after a year with the salt and moisture . This one has lasted over a year so far without wear. Even with yearling and two-year olds that nibble everything! And they look cute!

Great Holder

This isn’t the first time I have used these salt block holders they are quite durable don’t rust and are easy to install.

Broken in the first 2 days

Put a block of Himalayan salt in it and it was broken within 48 hours. There are 4 "posts holding it together and 3 screw holes to attach it. The attachment held

Put a block of Himalayan salt in it and it was broken within 48 hours. There are 4 "posts holding it together and 3 screw holes to attach it. The attachment held but one of the 4 posts was broken in the first day so the block fell out.

it does hold the regular salt block we had to wet and cut it made smaller

It needs more supports along the bottom and probably the sides and needs to be wider at the top to set the salt block in

My horses like this salt block over the metal ones.

My two horses like this salt block holder better as it provides a more open access to it over the metal one that is good but not as open. It assembles to the stall
