Looks Great

The crate arrived today. I put it together with my 7 year old grandson in maybe 15 minutes and one tool. Beautiful wood, very sturdy and my dogs have been in it,

The crate arrived today. I put it together with my 7 year old grandson in maybe 15 minutes and one tool. Beautiful wood, very sturdy and my dogs have been in it, on and off, all day.

Wish the crate was slightly bigger. It just barely fits a medium size dog bed. Our dog seems to enjoy the crate though and it looks much nicer than the standard

Wish the crate was slightly bigger. It just barely fits a medium size dog bed. Our dog seems to enjoy the crate though and it looks much nicer than the standard wire crates. BE ADVISED. The tray provided is FOAM. It is NOT like the plastic trays that come with the metal wire crates.

Listen to the guy about the tray.

I got a steel replacement tray just in case, turns out it was way too big. Make sure you use the internal dimensions of the crate. But I have a 15 wk old beagle

I got a steel replacement tray just in case, turns out it was way too big. Make sure you use the internal dimensions of the crate. But I have a 15 wk old beagle and I thought the tray would be okay bc he had been getting used to it days prior. The first time I leave him alone for a few hours the tray was confetti! Not a big deal but definitely the only thing holding this product back. Also one of the rollers is bent and doesn’t function properly bc the zip tie had snapped during shipping and the door had been forced too far across the center causing the roller to get derailed and bent. Besides that I like it but not for the price point tbh.

I love the look of this kennel. The dog is adjusting. I think it's more closed off than her wire crate, and darker inside, and she's not used to that. One thing

I love the look of this kennel. The dog is adjusting. I think it's more closed off than her wire crate, and darker inside, and she's not used to that. One thing I wish it had, was a dark wood top to match the base we chose. The blonde wood stands out in the room because nothing else is that color.

The crate body is well designed with good materials used, solid real wood. The issue is the flimsy awful tray. I already was expecting a bad tray based on prior reviews but WOW it is worse than I thought. My pup chewed through a corner in the first hour despite attempts to hide it under blankets. I will have to diy a tray because it is impossible to find a tray this size. Be warned.

Great Crate That Looks Good in a Living Room

This has been a great crate pretty much all around. The fit and finish of the parts is as good as any piece of furniture I have ever assembled and it took 20 minutes to put together. It's only quirk is it is an odd-size compared to other crates which made buying a replacement tray a bit of a challenge because Trinity does not appear to sell replacement trays (which, by the way, my dog destroyed almost immediately). I suggest using the same material other crate manufacturers use because my dog didn't attack the trays in other crates or the replacement tray I bought for this crate. Overall, though, we are very happy with this replacement for our wire crate.

I needed for large litter box as i have multiple cats. It's beautiful and well made in person I took 1 star off cause the tray is made out of foam for the price
