This tree was definitely made for small cats or kittens.

I wish the product listing had more measurements, or that I’d looked closer at the reviews. It’s a great size for our kitten, but the material is thin and feels

I wish the product listing had more measurements, or that I’d looked closer at the reviews. It’s a great size for our kitten, but the material is thin and feels a bit cheap, so I’m hoping it holds up to her wild energy. My 10lb cat doesn’t fit anywhere. He spills over the top, the hammock’s too small, and the cove is tiny, he tried once and never again since then. Our 16lb cat won’t even try it, which is probably for the best! It’s also a bit wobbly, so I have it pushed against something, and there are a few exposed staples around the cove from a rough upholstery job. With the quality, size, and cost I should have gone with something else.

Great size and Plenty of Sisal

This is the second one I’ve had for my cats. It’s not too large. They love all the sisal they can scratch their claws on plus great spots for taking naps.

Assembly is a pain; potentially unsafe

As many cat parent know, they love hanging out on your desk when you try to work. I got this tree to put next to my desk in the hopes that they will prefer its comforts

As many cat parent know, they love hanging out on your desk when you try to work. I got this tree to put next to my desk in the hopes that they will prefer its comforts over my keyboard. If my cats merely still preferred the keyboard, this would have been a 5 star review. The entire tower feels really solid, the faux fur is plush, it looks great, and it's the perfect height to have next to my desk. While the directions were basically a labled diagram, the whole thing is pretty easy to figure out. However. The hammock part is a bit of a problem. The hammock itself doesn't have much of a "bowl" to it. Maybe with time it will stretch out a little, but for now it seems more like a trampoline than a hammock. The hammock is secured to two posts. One of these posts (the part labled pos8- "post with spacer bolt") goes through the end of the hammock and then is supposed to be secured with a "cover plate" (part pos6). Unfortunately, there is so much fur on these parts that it is impossible to screw the cover plate on as intended. As I was trying to screw the cover plate on, the fabric ripped, and I ended up pulling more of it back so that the parts could make better contact. I finally was able to wrestle it on, but I'm a little concerned about the longevity of the hammock, and since the fabric rips so easily, I'm worried that the hammock will tear instead of stretch once my cats start using it.

Went together in just over about 30 minutes. Pretty impressive.

It is super sturdy and one of my kittens claimed it for his own...lol. It has great scratching areas and the hammock and top perch are a treat. I have a great one
