Where is the product made and is it free of harmful chemicals.

Answer by ChewyJun 20, 2021
This cat tree is manufactured in China. Many Trixie items contain a Proposition 65 label. Even though a product may be found to contain a Proposition 65-listed chemical (900 chemicals in total), it does not mean that use of the product will cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. Nor does it mean that a product is unsafe. The statute requires a warning label even if the amount of the chemical is miniscule.

Cat tower

Good enough. Our cat doesn’t pay attention to it. Older cat, maybe better for a kitten.

I got this when my kitten was tiny. He is grown big now, and that top scratching post is leaning over. It came totally off and I fixed it with JB Weld, which is already not strong enough. I really like this cat tree, but not sure how to fix it. Everything else has lasted good. My cat only went into the little house several times, but he uses the scratching posts a lot and likes to climb up to the very top one to perch and look outside. I wish it could be made to last or fixed and repaired, but I am not sure how to do that.

This little tower was perfect for my kitten until one day she got the ball and string wrapped multiple times around her paw and in a knot. She was panicking and trying to jump off the perch as the string was quickly cutting off her circulation and the only way to help was to cut the string. I am so thankful I was in the same room with her when this occurred. I don't even want to think about what could have happened to my poor girl... So I would ONLY recommend this if you plan to cut the string and ball off, for the safety of your furry friend. Also, I would say the size is most suitable for a kitten. My cat is around 8lbs and too big for the perch now.
