The two top levels have been loose and wobbly for a while, but I checked the screws and they are as tight as they can be. This morning, I woke up and found the top level had toppled over and completely detached. The screw is still steady in place, but the base and the bed level fell. I'm just glad my cats are okay. Highly do not recommend!

I bought this item a few months ago for a 6 month kitten we adopted. The beds are held onto the tree by a bolt that is glued into plastic. They’ve been loosening and I’ve tried to tighten them but they still have wiggle some. Well, the nut ripped out through the plastic and the bed fell off. I tried to reattach it but the nut won’t go back into the column and when I tried to put some pressure on it, the whole plastic piece caved into the cardboard column. That bed was my kitten’s favorite place to sleep so she’s been very disappointed since I can’t fix it.
