Trixie Wall Mounted Cat Bridge

very cheap the wood is white wood prone to spits and yellow pine would have been a better choice for durability. The first one split the replacement one split finally received a refund for my money but not my time wasted. I understand why it's shipped unassembled and it wasn't to make it cheaper...because they couldn't make it cheaper than they already did!

Is it supposed to smell strong? When I got it , everything was good but the smell , it’s so strong that (not to be dramatic) my head hurt:/

The design is nice and has the scent of real wood. That said, it is not at all forgiving if you put it in the wrong place. Once the screws go into the dry wall anchors the screws will not come out without bringing the anchors with it. The instructions are a little vague about what is the real difference between stud install and drywall only.

It took a very long time for us to put this together and the Instructions were far from direct. They appears simple but needed more detail. After finally putting it together installing it was a nightmare. One of the shelves would not remain in the wall so we cut it from the other. On the same day of install our cat tried to use it and one fell right out of the wall. The hardware sent with it was not strong enough for the product and the nails might not have been long enough to secure it to the stud we intended to apply it to. Very upset with this purchase. We just pulled the third shelf out of the wall and used the little ladders as decoration for another pair of shelves that are actually sturdy It took a very long time for us to put this together and the Instructions were far from direct. the first one i ordered didn't come with instructions or hardware (and smelt very strong). called Chewy and they sent out a replacement very quickly. the second one came with everything. it was easy to put together. it wasn't hard to mount on the wall but wasn't easy either. first time Neo my cat jumped off it, it ripped out of the wall (he weighs 13 pounds not fat). i remounted it in a stud. had to add more screws to attach it too the wall but now Neo is scared of it and refuses to use it.

Don’t waste your money it came split in half and good luck trying to mount it

We have been building our wall perch and this was the perfect addition. I will say you have to do some work to put it together, but it’s not bad, and they provide you with every thing you need except the screw driver & drill obviously.

Would give it 5 stars if the hardware included was good quality. The bridge itself is really cute and sturdy if put up correctly. I would suggest heading to the hardware store to get anchors for this , the plastic ones included are stripped easily and doesn't stand up to cats pouncing and playing. Would buy again.

Looked real nice and went together fairly easily. The cheap wood broke apart after my cat jumped up to bottom platform approximately 5 times. Not recommended for anything but kittens.

Holds better than I thought. I have 4 overweight Fur Babies and they can all use this and sit on it no problem. Awesome !!!!
