What about my dog licking himself? Will this product hurt him if it's on his fur?

This spray is intended for external use only. However, after the product dries on your dog the occasional lick or two won't harm them.

This says dogs only in the pictures, but was listed in the cat section. Is this safe for dogs and cats? If not, what is a home spray for fleas that’s natural and safe for both?

Stinks like cloves - wouldn’t leave it on my pet

This spray is advertised as citrus scented but the only smell I could detect was cloves. It’s quite overpowering. My dog HATED everything about the experience of using the spray. I was very careful to keep it away from his face and I only sprayed him from the neck down but he still kept licking the air because he found it so distasteful. I wouldn’t leave this spray on my pet because he seemed to hate it so much. I adopted my dog two weeks ago and he came to us with fleas. Booooo! I’m using this spray as part of a multipronged approach. I saturated my dog thoroughly and left it on for 5 minutes while I flea combed him. After the 5 minutes I bathed the dog normally to remove the spray. It feels sort of soapy and oily. I would not want to leave this spray in my dog’s coat because it’d feel a bit gross. I saw one flea come off my dog when I rinsed him after using the spray so I guess it worked? I’ll keep using it pre-bath until the fleas are gone but I wouldn’t use this as part of his routine grooming.

I ended up having to go back to advantix after multiple applications of this left my babies still itching. I actually love the smell but it’s super strong and my dogs got so mad at me everytime I would spray them. It did still work great on the dog beds and couch.

So far, it seems to work

We live in a high tick population area. This seems to help if I really put it on heavily. I spray bandanas and harnesses. But it does leave kind of a icky feeling

Smell

I just received it yesterday. I wash my sheets and cover then spary my bed with it. I couldn't sleep all night the smell was so strong and wouldnt go away. Today

I also got the shampoo have not smell it yet will bath my dog's today too see. I wouldn't purchase again.
