This dog and cat shampoo has a 3-year shelf life. The 4 four numbers on the LOT number on the bottom of the bottle depict the 2-digit year and 2-digit month the product was made. From there you may derive the expiration date.

My kitten came from a stressful situation, that included an owner who smoked cigarettes and left alone without a clean litter box for weeks. I affectionately call him my pet skunk because of the cute stripe on his back, and he smelled strongly when I first got him. This shampoo says it has “strong coconut cleansers” in the formula, but it didn’t have a strong scent when washing, and my kitten doesn’t smell like coconuts. His white fur came out so beautiful and he smells fresh and his fur is so soft, I can’t stop snuggling him.

Great working shampoo with wonderful scent!

I foster for a local animal rescue & a few months ago, there was an unpleasant incident with a skunk. I didn't have this product then & it was a nightmare getting rid of the skunk smell (I didn't know then that there was actually a product made specifically for skunk odors). When I saw this product, I knew I had to get it to have on hand, just in case there is another incident. One of the things I like about this item is that it is not just for getting rid of skunk odors but when diluted, it can be used as a grooming shampoo for normal care & I tried it out today for that purpose on 2 of my foster pups. It has a very pleasant scent & did an excellent job cleaning up those 2 little guys, leaving them looking so soft & silky, with the bonus of smelling wonderful. It comes in a big bottle (20 oz) so even with occasional shampooing, there will be plenty left to have available if there is another skunk encounter. I hope there isn't, but I think this product is a must-have for anyone who has pets & sees the occasional skunk. I'd rather have it and not need it than to need it and not have it!

Even though my dog did not come in contact with a skunk, I used the Tropiclean Skunk shampoo on my poodle because he always gets that doggy dog smell after being outside in the heat here in Texas. I liked that it suds up very easily and filtered through his thick coat with ease. It wasn’t over perfume-y at all and I was surprised how well it neutralized his odor. I may just switch to using this shampoo instead of the perfume-y one I usually use.

My dog doesn't often encounter a skunk But he has a doggie odor as the oils on his skin spread through his fur. This gives his fur a distinctive odor and a greasy feel. So, I was interested to see what this TropiClean shampoo would do for it. Well, it works! Not only does it get rid of his doggie odor and the greasy fur feel but it leaves his fur feeling soft and smelling great!

I use this on two dogs.. due to skin allergies they smell awful... But after using this product they smelled so fresh and clean!! Even when they were coming inside

Its not thick like a normal shampoo

It didn't really do much for yhe skunk smell once she was dry. It has a strange smell like a urinal cake

This shampoo smells amazing! It’s not a super strong odor, but somehow it makes my dogs smell so good! I haven’t had to use it for skunk specific smells yet, but

Great emergency remedy for skunk spray encounters

I haven't had to use this yet but my neighbors 3 dogs have been sprayed twice by a skunk. We live in a rulral area and hopefully will not experience this unfortunate
