ABOUT TRUE ACRE FOODS
Our dogs are part of the family. To get those tails wagging, we reward them with wholesome recipes that combine nutritious ingredients and flavors they love. And because simple things make dogs happy, we keep our approach to food and treats simple, too. Focus on taste and nutrition to keep bringing goodness to the bowl.
My older dog no longer enjoys cow ears, but she loves these. And they take her longer to work through than the cow ears. She's a medium dog and takes 5-10 minutes. Good choice for a "keep them busy" treat.
My German Shepherd loves these but it only lasts her about 30 seconds until it’s gone. Definitely more of a treat than a chew/bone despite the size of the. I could see them lasting longer for a smaller dog breed.
These treats aren’t made to keep any dog over 30lbs busy. But they can at least last longer than 5 minutes if you freeze them! They’re tasty occasional treats that are worth my dog’s happiness. For duration, look at antlers, horns, hooves, or roasted real bones. Chewy sells all of these at good quality.
I only gave my dog one, but it split in half (lengthwise) on the first bite. Soon after consuming the whole thing, my dog was vomiting and had diarrhea.
Our Dane loves these due to the peanut butter flavor and the size is good. But be prepared for it to end soon if you have a big dog and leave a mess behind in their bed.
We cut these in half for a nice-sized snack that our 65-pound pit mix still has to chew and can't just wolf down. She loves Hearty Bones.
I have a 19 lb Shih Tzu with teeth so tiny it's comical and he made it through this bone in 20 minutes. I'm pretty disappointed in it considering that it's 2/3 of his daily calories. I'll be giving them to friends who have larger dogs.
My dog really enjoyed these but I wish I had looked at their size before I ordered. My dog is small and these are for bigger dogs than her.
The only problem I run into is that they are packaged in an uneven number causing me to split the last one between my two dogs. Otherwise, they have become my dogs favorite nighttime snack.
All of my dogs love these but they don’t last long at all. I have very hard chewers so they are these up in a couple minutes.
