It is a multipurpose blanket, it will be great for that mix warm and cold weather changes. No need to buy lots of blankets anymore. Comes with neck blanket and all padding for the inside. It IS thin near the withers. It will be a concern for rubbing because the material is thin and less padding in more important areas like the withers. I hope they edit it to have adjustable straps around the neck areas to sit better and prevent rubbing on the shoulders. They might as well add more adjustable features since it's multipurpose.
