Made well but not working out well

We live in a heavily wooded part of Florida. Lots of Deer ticks and an incredibly tiny variety that we pick up while hiking consistently. My American bulldog is

We live in a heavily wooded part of Florida. Lots of Deer ticks and an incredibly tiny variety that we pick up while hiking consistently. My American bulldog is easy prey with his skin thin coat. We tried applying pressure and stretching out the skin around where the tick had embedded itself so I could get the tweezer flush underneath the tick’s body. It did take some skin along with it even when applying pressure to the surrounding area. The first time we tried it the head broke off, but I was able to remove it with my fingernail. We’ll have to give it a few more tries. It’s sturdy steel with a large grip for your fingers and a flat angle tip. Much larger than a regular tweezer and easier to handle while you’re trying to work on a pet.

I gave her these to find use for and she said she has actually not only used them for a few ticks, but often they are great for her to pick of a few fleas she’s seen on the animals when they’re washing them off from the ranch.

It’s nice to have a separate pair of tweezers specific for tick removal for our dogs. We live in a wooded area and unfortunately, ticks are common. We do our best

It’s nice to have a separate pair of tweezers specific for tick removal for our dogs. We live in a wooded area and unfortunately, ticks are common. We do our best to ensure they do not stick around! These tweezers are metal, easy to sanitize, large enough to work with and make it easier to remove a tick safely. Low cost and definitely think it worth adding to the list of must haves for your dog. I have large shepherds and the size works well. I don’t see needing a smaller size for small breeds though.

I used this for my miniature dachshund who loves to explore in the woods behind our house. We live in a very mild area so ticks are always a concern. Just in time

I used this for my miniature dachshund who loves to explore in the woods behind our house. We live in a very mild area so ticks are always a concern. Just in time to use this new gadget she presented with a tick on her neck. I was easily able to extract it from her very cleanly leaving no tick remnants behind. Will definitely be keeping this handy for use in the future!
