Cats love it but not enough support
The picture looks like the ramp holds up the top on that side, but it doesn’t. This makes the top very unstable, especially if your cats are like mine (12+ pounds) and both want to be on it at the same time. We have only had it a week and it is bending to the side that’s not supported. The sisal on the ramp is detaching. It is a big hit with both cats and almost never empty. I’m not sure it will last too much longer, though.
Junk - fell apart while assembling
The ramp was stapled on one end and while trying to screw in the bottom, it fell apart! Very flimsy materials. Was refunded.
Cats like but
My cats love this and is perfect size for my little condo but it's not made that will. I have had it for a few weeks now and it's already coming apart. Not recommend if you want to keep for awhile.
Not worth it
We have had this for about a week and already the sisal on the ramp is about to come off. We have one 10lb. cat who wears nail caps so we are definitely less than "normal wear & tear" Just very cheaply made.
Love This!
I don’t understand the reviews that are saying this was difficult to put together? It literally was so easy, it only had four screws! My kitty cats love it, they were playing with it and on it the minute I was done putting it together. The quality is great and it looks nice. May buy another one for the living room at this one is on the patio where we hang out a lot.
wobbly if you have a big kitty
The top part wobbles. Will probably be fine if you have a nimble kitty under 10 lbs, but for my kitty (who is 13 yrs old), it scared him cuz it wasn’t stable and would jump off immediately. I had to return it.
Not a sturdy cat tree
This cat tree is flimsy and not well made. The ramp doesn't hold up the top section well enough for my 12 pound cat. I would not recommend and will donate this to a cat shelter where kittens may enjoy it.
Cheap, terrible, broken JUNK!
For $60 this tree is made of the most cheap, appalling materials. The gray fabric is not good quality, it feels so thin. There is no padding under it. I'm not sure what the boards are made of but the gray, three inches side rail on the bed is cardboard. The sisal is cheap and shedding all over the place. It's not safe period! The metal brackets that attach all the boards to each other are easily bendable by hand. Also, for some reason the bed on top does not bolt together with the scratching ramp. It is attached with black, elastic bands that are stapled onto each piece than stapled together instead, making it not stable. All of my black bands were snapped off the boards and staples hanging off the boards. I didn't even finish taking all the pieces out of the box. Returning immediately. If I could give zero stars I would. Cute design though and the measurements were correct.
Scratching Heaven
Pickles has always been picky with what he will scratch on. For a long time it has only been cardboard. I was hoping with the board on this that I would be similar enough to cardboard and with the post next to it maybe he would try that eventually. My plan worked. And now I will not have to vacuum up am much cardboard shavings! The only bad part is that with pickles being a larger cat the bed on top wobbles so he is hesitant to use it. Hoping he will warm up to it. Added support on the other side would help. Probably would be fine for smaller cats.
Stylish but flimsy
This perch is quite stylish but it is also a bit flimsy. It is covered with a flannel like cloth (the gray) that I think will not hold up long. The ramp attaches to the platform but there is no support under that side of the platform. When two 12 lb cats jumped up on it, it was not stable. The cats like the scratching areas. This replaces a perch we have had for many years which is covered in carpet and has a stable perch area - these are no longer available so I have been searching for a replacement for some time. We will keep this, but I wish I liked it more.
