It is not required to have a written prescription on hand when you place your order, but Chewy Pharmacy must have a patient-specific prescription from a licensed veterinarian on file before it can dispense a medication. At checkout, simply select: I want Chewy to contact my vet, and we will contact your veterinarian on your behalf to get your pets prescription. My German Shepherd is very cautious about everything that passes her lips. The Tylosin powder from our vet was a NO-GO after just a few days. The liquid form of this antibiotic was so much easier to administer. She still isn't a fan, but it's much easier to get into her. The provided vial/dispenser was not large enough for a single dose and was not terribly smooth to use so I have been using an old one for children's liquid medicines.
Have gotten this prescription for my kitty at another pharmacy and they do not mix this product well at all making it impossible to administer without remixing almost every time to ensure correct dosage is being given to be affective.
Easy to administer chicken-flavored medicine. Effective at reducing bacterial intestinal infection
Excellent product, easy to order and arrived on time.Excellent!
Seems to work for chronic colitis, capsule’s are more convenient but liquid works better. Just wish I could get a bigger mL bottle or higher strength so I would have to order just once a month, since my baby takes a higher dose, and get different flavors. Hopefully Chewy (will consider) doing a higher strength and more mL per bottle, and more flavor’s. Chewy does have the better prices. But it does get pricey when you have to order more than monthly, but better than the bitter taste. A paw’s up to Chewy.
I’m not sure if it was my pet but he did not like it one bit. It is a-lot more affordable than my usual one but my pet hates it he end hides from me and scratches me because he just doesn’t like it.
Cleared up the tear stains under my dog's eyes very quickly.
This medication is much cheaper through Chewey than my vet. However, my vet has it compounded with a chicken- marshmallow flavor! My girl Loves it. But I have to force the plain chicken flavor down her. Chewey Pharmacy, please get the chicken marshmallow flavor!!!!
My cat could not take the powder- too bitter. This liquid came with a syringe that made it easy to withdraw the medicine from the bottle.
This product works great. I just wish they had peanut butter flavor.
