Not for use with Walnut Litter
These mats catch the litter, but they stain from it. I have to use a vacuum to get the litter out, and a bunch still stays in the mat. I'm not even sure power washing
These mats catch the litter, but they stain from it. I have to use a vacuum to get the litter out, and a bunch still stays in the mat. I'm not even sure power washing would work. The mat may work with larger grained litter, but its a huge mess with walnut litter.

Typically I fold it in half and shake any excess litter into the box and generally not even need to vacuum anything off of it. Great purchase.

Well I tried
I have my kitty litter box in our garage. I have 4 of these cat litter box mats. The cats still bring in the kitty litter from the garage.

Was working great and then one of my cats peed on top of the litter that was stuck in it and it does not come out. Had to throw both that I bought away. That’s why
