My dog is a Frenchton who is a powerful chewer with her toys. These bones are a good size for her. I give them to her on a special treat blanket because I find they can be greasy and she tends to like to bring them on the couch. She likes them even when they are empty. Haven't had any problems, however with any marrow bones you will want to check as sometimes there are roasted meat parts that stick out sharply that you may wish to trim flat so they don't cut their gums.

Smelled terrible. Dog wouldn't touch it.
These little bones had what appeared and smelled like they had old Crisco for the supposed marrow inside. Had to throw them away.

My dog really enjoys chewing on these bones however you need to be careful since I had one that broke up into pieces just as she was biting into it. Those pieces

Usually she gets all anxious when I’m leaving, but not when I give her a marrow bone and she is always just all snuggled on the couch when I get back, just like I never left. I like these better than the Kong, which I still use too, marrow bones are just easy and a perfect size.
