Works, but not cost effective for multiple boxes
When I first saw this product it seemed like exactly what I was looking for. I have a lot of cats and have a lot of litter boxes. I use pine litter, which is amazing
When I first saw this product it seemed like exactly what I was looking for. I have a lot of cats and have a lot of litter boxes. I use pine litter, which is amazing at neutralizing the smell of urine, but does almost nothing for the smell of feces. I sometimes buy either clay or silica litter to mix in with the pellets to help with the odor, but this product looked like a perfect solution. However, it ended up not working out for me. I did not realize that you have to use an entire bag in ONE litter box. I thought I could just sprinkle it into the litter like I do with other litters, but I guess it requires more. I tried it with half the bag the first time, and it definitely helped with the odor. But that's when I encountered the next issue. I scoop the boxes twice a day, and with pine pellets you have to sift out the sawdust. So, in sifting out the sawdust I am pretty much scooping out this additive as well. This wouldn't be that big of an issue if it didn't require using the entire bag in one box. I just don't see the value considering the cost of this additive. Even if you only have one cat, that is a big expense to add on since you still have to buy litter. It does seem to work though, so if you have only one box, and don't scoop it that often, then this might work well for you. It just wasn't for us.

This additive has a nice scent, blended in well with the litter and definitely helped minimize odor. My cat also can be finicky about her litter and she had no issue with me adding the additive. I will definitely order again.

The only downside to this product is the bag is one-time use only. My home has four cats and four litter boxes which are refreshed weekly. To use this product in four boxes per week would get costly. The product, in my opinion, would be better suited for a single cat home where the litter is not refreshed as frequently.
Not fake or artificial smelling

So it got used a lot and always smelled more than the ither boxes regardless of how often i cleaned or out new litter. I added half a bag of this even though it says a full bag and i actually dont think it smells. It may have eliminated the urine ordors and doesnt smell fake or fragranced. So im gonna get anither one and do a second round full bag in each box and see how long it last cus its been over a week and right now it seems to work?

The litter robots are the most popular since my spilled cats hate using litter boxes with more than one clump in it already. After adding this to my regular litter box my cats are using it more often. I noticed less of an odor in that room and the clumps are still firm and easy to scoop. I will add to my subscription.
It Works Well But Price Would Be A Consideration.
We have used it in regular and automated litter boxes with no problems. It seems to do the job consistently and as well if not better than someb of the best litter

Purchase, however, would depend on price versus other similar products, thus 4 stars because we don't know what it would retail for.
