Do you rinse the coat before applying or just comb out the dirt and then apply?

Remove excess dirt from coat, mane and tail. Apply UltraCruz Equine Black Diamond Shampoo and work fully into hair using circular motions to ensure even and full application. Use a wet cloth to carefully apply to the face and ears avoiding contact with the eyes. Allow to remain on the coat at least 10 minutes. Thoroughly rinse coat, mane and tail. May slightly stain white coats and hands, use UltraCruz Equine Bright White for lighter coats and gloves as needed.
