These dog peanut butter pouches are a little different to open . They’re not hard. You just have to pay attention to the directions on the packaging. I do think that a screw off lid of some sort or a tab may have been a better route here with packaging. After you tear off the cardboard, the peanut butter does come to the surface. They’re definitely are natural oils that you see like with any other peanut butter. I don’t smell anything strange with this peanut butter. My dogs did enjoy this peanut butter on crackers. I can’t really say that it made them more calm and relaxed. I also noticed that the instructions encourage you to give a lot more to your individual dog, and I gave to mine. I just feel like it was a lot. Overall, though she did eat the small amount that I had given her.

Nice little treat packets for the pups. My only complaint is that the rippable top left stretched plastic dangling at the top, which I had to cut off with scissors

I suggest just using scissors to the cut the top instead of ripping. Otherwise, it's peanut butter! It's seems to be well made and nicely packaged (other than the plastic stretching when you try to rip the top). As for the calming nature, it did seem to relax our pups a little bit, but I'm not exactly sure the extent of that. Either way, what dog doesn't love a good peanut butter snack?!

I have two smaller rescues and they absolutely loved the flavor of this - they ate it with no hesitation (and one of my dogs is super picky). I definitely think it helped ease their anxiety and made them more chill - I would definitely purchase in the future.

My pup isn’t the biggest fan of being left in his kennel and tends to bark the whole time he’s in there, but when I gave him this it helped calm him down a bit and he even took a nap. Granted it could have also been a lot of other factors, but i definitely think this helped
