Since I put a water dish in the crate with my dog, does the material hold up if some water spills?

If only a little water is sprinkled on the board, it is fine if it is cleaned in time. However, if the water soaks for too long, it will gradually break down the wood and destroy the structure.

Fake wood but still cute

It’s so nice having a piece that doubles as a side table. It even came with a mat for the inside! My partner put it together in about an hour. Highly reccomend usuing

It’s so nice having a piece that doubles as a side table. It even came with a mat for the inside! My partner put it together in about an hour. Highly reccomend usuing an electric drill if you’ve got one. Also came really fast. I do agree that a determined dog could easily get out of this as the lock is rather flimsy. Luckily my dog is cute but not very smart so it’s perfect. For size ref he’s a beagle/basset mix (about 30lbs) Short but rather long so finding a crate was a challenge.

Pre-drilled holes missing

I would not recommend this product unless you’re willing to measure and drill your own holes. I purchased this because it matches the one I have for my other dog

I would not recommend this product unless you’re willing to measure and drill your own holes. I purchased this because it matches the one I have for my other dog and my golden is out growing her smaller one. I would have gotten the identical one from another company but they were sold out. Since I purchase a good portion of food and treats (2 dogs and 3 cats) from chewy, I decided to find a crate here. This has happened to be with a different piece of cat furniture should have known. Many of the pre-drilled holes were missing. I hired someone to assist with the assembly of the crate. The assembly took twice as long because they had to leave then return with the proper tools to drill new holes. This has been more costly than I anticipated. My dogs love their crates and they are a permanent fixture in my home. So I wanted something that would look nice and fit in with my decor. Although it’s nice, it took many extra steps to complete the build. I purposefully avoided a “custom” build. Again nice, but be prepared for extra work and steps to complete the build of this crate.

The latches slid ever so slightly out of place after assembly so it is more difficult to open/close then it should be to let the dog out. And I really wish the side door had been designed so the hinges could be on either side of the wall panel. For the cost, I think design could have been better and material quality could be nicer.
