I saw the humidity thing and while bearded dragons are dessert animals, they do need humidity levels of 30%-40%, would that be too high for this tank ?

Answer by ChewySep 17, 2025
This tank performs better in dry environments, so we recommend it for keeping reptiles that are desert-dwelling. It is made of pressed wood, and it can withstand ordinary humid environments; however, if water soaks the edges of the panels over an extended period of time, the edges are likely to bulge, affecting their usability.

It’s nice and big. The screen sections on the top don’t open. The lock mechanism is simple but functional. It’s secured onto the glass with a small clamp and 2 screws with little plastic tips (make sure you install these!). The glass slides nicely but the glass channels are not super deep. As built? The outside is a smidge over 47x23x23 inches. The wood is particle board/engineered wood but is nice and thick. The back is 3 pieces of pressed board with 2 particle board vertical posts. All of the holes were pre drilled and aligned nicely. The floor is also the same thick particle board. The instructions were mostly clear. Assembly took my wife and I about 30 minutes. It was packaged well and the glass was in the middle, well protected. The shipping box was damaged some, but everything inside was undamaged. Our ~ 1 year old bearded dragon seems to be fine in it. The cord access port is very nice. Besides the cable port, there aren’t any small or large openings for insects to escape. We are very pleased with this enclosure.

Works great

It does need to be out together but it’s not difficult at all, especially if you have a drill! (we did half the screws by hand before realizing we did)
