I was wondering which size would be best for a German Shepherd?

Since I put a water dish in the crate with my dog, does the material hold up if some water spills?

If only a little water is sprinkled on the board, it is fine if it is cleaned in time. However, if the water soaks for too long, it will gradually break down the wood and destroy the structure.

What size bed can be used with this crate?

Low quality, lasted 3 days

Our dog has been crate-trained for 6 years. The first day in this one, the lock popped off one of the doors and he played with the door, breaking all the wood frame

Our dog has been crate-trained for 6 years. The first day in this one, the lock popped off one of the doors and he played with the door, breaking all the wood frame. We ducked taped it back together. Day 3 the same thing happened on the other door except worse. That could not be fixed. Day 4 the crate was on the side of the road and he was moved back into his old one that clearly is more dog proof. Our dog is 75 pounds and has never broken a crate. Cheap materials. It also had a weird smell that he may not have liked. The wood smelled funny.

My search for the perfect crate ended when I saw this one. More enclosed than a wire crate with less distraction from room activity has made training time more exciting for both of us.

Fake wood but still cute

It’s so nice having a piece that doubles as a side table. It even came with a mat for the inside! My partner put it together in about an hour. Highly reccomend usuing

It’s so nice having a piece that doubles as a side table. It even came with a mat for the inside! My partner put it together in about an hour. Highly reccomend usuing an electric drill if you’ve got one. Also came really fast. I do agree that a determined dog could easily get out of this as the lock is rather flimsy. Luckily my dog is cute but not very smart so it’s perfect. For size ref he’s a beagle/basset mix (about 30lbs) Short but rather long so finding a crate was a challenge.
