The grooming kit is electric, with a chord to power the vacuum function and many of the attachments. The two included AA batteries are specifically for use with the trimer attachment.

QUIET?! Well.....

I watched many ads saying this is "whisper quiet". I was so hopeful as I slithered up to my napping shepherd (the first of three potential victims), turned the "silent"

I watched many ads saying this is "whisper quiet". I was so hopeful as I slithered up to my napping shepherd (the first of three potential victims), turned the "silent" knob and *GGGGGGGGGRRRRRRRRAAAAAAHHHHHHH*...... it roared to life! He runs.... I wrangle.... after a ride on the struggle bus I'm able to fill a few canisters (yes, it's effective with enough muscle) before he full body slammed into my face. The anatolian cautiously observed from a distance, fearing the "silence" of the vacuum while the rodeo unfolded (he is much too large and unpredictable to approach with the devil's weapon on day 1) while the hound took up permanent residency under the table.... I am no longer in the trust circle of my pups and the hound has committed to sleeping with one eye open tonight. I've already defeated many of the bristles on the "everyday brush" because they didn't pop back up after compressing the suction button that sends the furry mess down the tube.... also, static is REAL as you pull clingy fur from your battered, sweaty face. I'm going to give it another round tomorrow before my decision to send it back, but I'm assuming deaf dogs would benefit most from this device??? Or my dogs are just neurotic messes?? Plus side, I got a workout in.... *God speed new users, God speed*

The trimmer ended up dying after a couple of uses, so ultimately I can’t recommend this product. You could likely find something better, even if you’re purchasing everything separately. We bought this because the ads looked good and the price was not bad.

I have 2 Chihuahuas...both are timid and scared of anything new...both are rescues from abusive situations...both of them really like the grooming...the vacuum is so quiet it does not affect them at all and I am able to groom them with no problem at all...they actually enjoy it and sit still...whereas before they squirmed and wanted down when I tried to brush them...also the amount of hair that comes off using the vacuum was shocking ! it removed easily 4 times the amount of hair than the regular brushes I used before...as a matter of fact I realized what a lousy job the regular brushes did...I was shocked because I thought I was doing such a good job brushing them!!!! it paid for itself the first time I used it on the two dogs...I absolutely love this piece of equipment and recommend it to everyone I know....it saves me 200 dollars a month and it is a dream come true to use!!!!!

Not thrilled with this, but it has some use. Do not expect this to be a grooming tool! The clippers on it are TRASH. They got clogged with hair every few strokes

Not thrilled with this, but it has some use. Do not expect this to be a grooming tool! The clippers on it are TRASH. They got clogged with hair every few strokes and needed to be cleaned out. It also dose NOT have the power to BLOW coat loose as it shows in the video. Does not work any better than my vacuum at cleaning the couch. Would be fine to clip out a matt, and for small quick areas. The idea of having the hair sucked away is great, but terrifying to pets that are not used to being professionally groomed, very loud.
