For some reason my dog will not drink from this fountain. My cats will, but not my dog. We initially had it elevated for the dog but he wouldn’t drink, so we lowered it and he still won’t drink from it. We have a smaller fountain for the cats and now he only drinks from the smaller one. Pros: Large 2 gallon tank Adjustable height Cons: Tank is plastic, only the top is stainless steel The drain on the tray/top is higher than the lowest part of the tray, and crumbs, hair and debris stays in the tray and doesn’t flow through the filter to be filtered out. The water flow is slow and you constantly hear water running.

This dog and cat water fountain is easy to set up and I like that it is adjustable. I put it on the lowest setting because I have 2 cats and 2 dogs. My dogs are collies and could easily drink from the highest setting but the cats need the lowest setting. After I set it up the cats took to it immediately. One of them likes to drink out of the little return water fountain. The dogs took a little longer to accept the change from a bowl of water to the fountain, but after they tried it they seemed to like it. My daughter's dog was over and immediately drank from the fountain. I like that it refreshes the water constantly and there is a filter included so the water stays fresh.

Our pup love loves this! The adjustable height feature is fantastic. I can set it perfectly for his comfort level, and he no longer has to strain his neck when drinking. Clean the pump weekly to remove pet hair buildup, and the entire process takes less than 5 minutes. Disassembly and reassembly straightforward with no complicated parts. The stainless steel tray stays remarkably clean. The quiet operation is excellent too - my dog is noise-sensitive, but this device is virtually silent. The filtration system works well, keeping water fresh consistently. The LED indicator is helpful for knowing exactly when to refill. If you have a large dog and want a water dispenser to protect your dog’s neck, this product is definitely worth the investment!

Elevated dog water fountain

Water gets all over the floor from dogs drinking. The red light was on for no more than 15 minutes and now the pump doesn’t work at all. Per instructions, cleaned

Water gets all over the floor from dogs drinking. The red light was on for no more than 15 minutes and now the pump doesn’t work at all. Per instructions, cleaned all the filters, took the pump apart (again per instructions) properly filled the container, the blue light is on, and the pump is not operating. Have not even had this one week. Pump failed. Placed the pump into a clear Tupperware container filled with water so that I could observe the pump to listen to see if it’s even trying to operate. Verifying that the pump has failed. Impeller is not moving. Pump is not “humming” indicating that it is seized yet trying to operate.

I really like the concept of this product. It's very easy to clean and set up. I struggled a little bit with the legs, but I'm going to blame that on user error

I really like the concept of this product. It's very easy to clean and set up. I struggled a little bit with the legs, but I'm going to blame that on user error. It holds quite a bit of water, and was larger than I thought it would be. We use it with the legs folded up underneath so both the dog and cat can use it easily. The cat uses it no issues. Unfortunately, after having it set up for several days the dog still refuses to use it. If you have a timid dog or cat that doesn't like change, I probably wouldn't get it. Since my cat likes to dip her paws in the water to drink it, I like that it has a filter.

I love how quiet this fountain is! As a multi-pet household, this fountain meets all of our pets’ hydration needs without me having to refill a bowl several times a day. Assembly was quick and easy; my one complaint is that one of the legs on mine came kind of busted and I had to wrestle just to pop it into place. Luckily, all of my animals are small, so it works well for us without having to adjust the height!

I’ve only been using this raised water fountain for about a week, and my dog is already a big fan! So far, the experience has been really positive. The hight is adjustable, so I can set it just right for him, no more straining his neck while drinking. All the parts are easy to take apart and put back together, with no complicated pieces. The stainless steel bowl stays nice and clean, and it runs quietly. My dog is usually pretty sensitive to noise, but thus one is almost silent. The filter seems to do a good job keeping the water fresh, and there’s a handy LED light that let you know when it’s time to refill. If you have a large dog and want to help support their neck, this product is definitely worth considering!
