How large of a cat will this work for

To determine if this litter box would be a suitable size for your cat, we recommend measuring their length (from nose to hind end) to compare with the litter box dimensions. This litter pan measures approximately 20.75 inches long x 19.5 inches wide x 18.5 inches tall.

Is the door easily removable please? Thanks!

It is possible to remove the door flap.

If your cat urinates upwards on the wall of the hood, does the urine leak out of the seam between the pan and the hood?

It should not happen if the top is locked down to the bottom pan. There is a ledge on the inside to draw the urine into the pan. Cats that do spray high may unfortunately cause some leakage.

What's the step-up dimension, ie bottom of box to bottom of door opening?

Almost Too Tall

I’ve had this box for a few days & I’m still not sure about it. It’s 9in high, without the lid on-3in taller than my other one. Even though my cats have been using

I’ve had this box for a few days & I’m still not sure about it. It’s 9in high, without the lid on-3in taller than my other one. Even though my cats have been using a covered box for years, they seem a little hesitant to use this one. They do but I’m keeping an eye out around the house for messy signs of defiance. I included a picture with the old litter box for comparison.

I don’t use the door anyway

I always have just taken the door off of these boxes anyway so it’s not an issue for me. The hood still does a good job of containing smells and giving the cats

I always have just taken the door off of these boxes anyway so it’s not an issue for me. The hood still does a good job of containing smells and giving the cats privacy. It’s a good size, another corner box I got is absolutely massive and very difficult to clean. I’m happier than I thought i would be for this price.

It is made of a very sturdy plastic, although keep in mind you will still need to support it when moving it if it's got a lot of litter in there, because it holds a lot and can be very heavy. Fits great in the corner.

Nice, but too high

The box is nice, but it's too high for my female cats to enter in without jumping. I have to put a "step" for them outside the box and fill the box pretty high up

The box is nice, but it's too high for my female cats to enter in without jumping. I have to put a "step" for them outside the box and fill the box pretty high up inside for them to comfortably enter. Most definitely not for kittens or smaller cats. Other than that, the box looks nice in the corner. Sturdy.

Door is inoperable!!!

I was excited about this litter box, but it was pointless to waste money on one with a door. The door only swings one way, so I thought I’d try and see if somehow

I was excited about this litter box, but it was pointless to waste money on one with a door. The door only swings one way, so I thought I’d try and see if somehow the cats can open it once inside and they just knocked it down. I cut the corner of the door so that it can swing freely, or so I thought. Every time the cats jump in, the door falls off. Now it’s just a regular litter box with a top. Not what I was looking for.

Got this cat box today was excited for it being a corner cat box. It is bigger than expected which is a plus. The door only moves one way so for my cats that have never used a cat box with a door and even my other cats it’s not easy to use as their is a lip that stops the door from completely swinging. Also the bottom isn’t flat and keeps popping so it’s not sitting flat on floor and wobbles even with cat litter in the box. Gonna leave it over night with cat litter in it and if not will be calling chewy about it on Monday.
