Instructions
Add approximately 4 inches of cat litter to the clean, dry litter box (this allows your cats to dig and cover their waste naturally). Scoop out waste daily, using a curved, slotted litter scoop. Throw away waste. Wash empty pan with soap and water.

Worthwhile or perfectly
We have dogs who get into the cat litter. This has kept them out completely and cut out the messy litter spills. It was a great buy and affordable.

Size and mobility matter
This is a nice litter box with some pros and cons. Overall it’s built well and arrived in good condition. We have two senior cats in our house, so we’ve been monitoring
This is a nice litter box with some pros and cons. Overall it’s built well and arrived in good condition. We have two senior cats in our house, so we’ve been monitoring their ability to use the litter box, ie. do they need shorter sides? Can they get in and out easily? Changes life stages require different needs. Our senior girl is still very mobile and jumps with ease, she is on the smaller side and very neat and tiny with her litter box usage. She had no problem with this litter box, she can easily get in and out and has no problems using the box. Our senior boy however is not able to use the box. He has trouble with mobility, is diabetic and overweight. This litter box is not for him, due to these factors. However, his limited mobility does allow our girl a chance to have her own special litter box where she can keep it tidy and bury her “jobs” in her own special way.

I replaced the existing litter box with the Van Ness Trackless Top Entry Cat Litter Box, Large for my two cats. Both cats checked it out as soon as I put it in place of their regular litter box. I was a little concerned that the 1 year old would object to a change, but he watched the 5 year old use the box and he jumped right in the box afterward. The box is really great for stopping the litter tracking. I have tried mats underneath the box, I've tried different brands of kitty litter. Nothing ever seemed to make a difference. The way the box makes the cats enter and exit really works to stop litter being tracked across the floor. I love the new box and both the boys seem to really like it, too.

I have been extremely happy with this top entry litter box! My 2 year old cat is 8 pounds and the size was more than enough for her. I was hesitant at first but she had more than enough room. She was very hesitant at first to use it. We currently have an automatic box and a covered box. She struggled figuring out how to get in the top initially but once she did she quickly became a pro. The top is easily detachable for cleaning and it has a nice slim/slick design that fit perfectly in the corner of the bathroom.

I received the Van Ness Trackless Top Entry Cat Litter Box free to try. This is a good litter box, that has sides high enough to keep litter from going everywhere, even with the lid off. The lid snaps on tightly even though it doesn't have clips to hold it in place. I have one cat that is chunky and she has no problem getting in and out and doesn't knock the lid off. I like that the little box looks slim but it is actually pretty spacious. My only concern will be if the plastic starts to hold odor, but so far so good.

This litter box is great quality, and the height is great for alleviating litter going all over the floor. The only complaint I have about it is that my cats refuse to go inside of it. I had to remove the top lid for them to use it, and they still will not use it with the lid put back on. I’m sure this could be cat dependent, but my cats were not a fan of having to crawl through the hole. With that being said this litter box is still great as it is high enough to keep litter from flinging all over the floor and seems to also reduce the smell even without the top lid. I have noticed way less of a mess when it comes to around the litter box!
One of 3 cats like it

I set this up 2-3 weeks ago, only one of my cats have used it a few times for #2. Not sure which cat or if my other cats have tried to use it. My frenchie lifted his leg on the side.

When I received the litter box I thought this would be suited for my smaller cats like my manx, 11lbs, or 4 month old ragdoll, 7lbs. Surprisingly it fits my 23lb
When I received the litter box I thought this would be suited for my smaller cats like my manx, 11lbs, or 4 month old ragdoll, 7lbs. Surprisingly it fits my 23lb cat who actually uses it. Did not have any issues with it. The top stays put with cats jumping on and off of it.

The idea of this product is wonderful, however, my cat did not agree with the design. To be fair, she is an indoor/outdoor cat, so the concept of being confined

This top entry litter box keeps my cat from tracking litter everywhere. She used to kick litter out of the opening of her front door litter box, and this prevents that as well. It also keeps my nosy dogs out as well. I definitely think this is suitable for a 1 cat household due to the size of the box.
