I selected this supplement for my two parakeets that don't get to go outside now that we don't have a patio. I like that it is specifically formulated to provide vitamin D for birds that don't spend all day outside in the sun. It's also nice because it comes with a measuring tool and can be added to their food or water. I mixed it into their fresh veggie food and they didn't even notice.
