Our Vet recommended that we start with the Advanced formula then use the regular one once the scooting improved. We saw improvement after a week of the advanced formula, so after Sylvia finished a 60ct container, we started on this regular strength. AND IT STOPS WORKING! Caught her scooting again 😩 Give this product two stars because Sylvia doesn't have any problem eating it, and it doesn't upset her tummy like the other comment says. Guess we're gonna go back to the advanced one 😔
I purchased these to try and help my girl with scooting. After the first week I noticed she has stopped scooting. She loves these! I will definitely keep purchasing! My little girl is a King Charles Cavalier that is almost 8 months old.
Given enough time, these do work wonderfully! My dogs stool is firm and no gland issues! My dog loves them and thinks they're a treat! I have to order more! Highly recommended!
The dogs like them, put only been a few days. Not enough time to see if they work.
The dogs leap just before I give them their "treat." They love it. I love that their poops are good consistency.
Sadie gobbles up these chews and they have helped with her issue
I will not purchase anymore of these. Gave my poor dog horrible gas and upset her stomach.
I was really excited to try these, But my dog can only keep them down for about 10 minutes before he throws up. I've tried giving him these glandex treats twice on two separate occasions about a week and a half apart; once on a full stomach once on an empty stomach. Both times he's thrown up shortly after eating the treat :(
my small dog likes these, as she does any treat, however they just seem to give her mushy poop. So we are not going to reorder.
I am on my 3rd or 4th jar of these and feel like I can leave an honest review. First and foremost in my experience these work best as a preventative not a fix. If your dogs glands are full don’t expect these to magically empty them. Take you dog in and get the glands done and then you can “start from scratch” so to speak. After the vet emptied them out these have worked really well to help prevent the glands from getting overfull again. As far as the flavor, one of my dogs is picky and wouldn’t touch the peanut butter flavor. She likes the liver well enough. My other dog is a garbage disposal and will eat anything so no problems getting her to eat them. I put the recommended dose in with their morning meal every day and have seen no scooting in a couple months and no nasty smell!
