This is so cute I don't mind it sitting in the middle of the room. My fourteen pound giant hasn't knocked it over. Doesn't even slide on my wood floors. He's so used to me discouraging scratching that he was sneaking around it at first. My guy isn't a catnip fan so I didn't put any on and he found the cactus on his own. Don't think you can see on the photo, but the base also has the same material on it. We've only had it a couple of weeks but so far the scratches aren't visible-looks good as new. Almost no assembly required. Just stick the cactus onto the base. Flowers are already attached. Definitely recommend.

My cat loves this scratcher so much I make sure it goes with him when he is at the sitter. My cat is always eager to play on this scratcher and it has been so much fun as well. This might have been the best purchase I’ve made for my cat. Larger really is better so If you can spend the extra money for the larger size. I initially felt ridiculous spending this much money but now im so glad I did!

I had this cactus tree for 3 months and it’s already shredded up and leaving green fibers from the scratcher all over my apartment. At first I kept seeing what I thought was green hairs all over and then I realized it was coming from the cactus scratcher. I have cat wall scratchers all over the walls, I have 5 cat trees, and tons of cardboard scratchers all throughout my apartment and some items I’ve had for many years and those scratching posts still look new. This $90 cactus scratcher is supposed to be high end. It looks great and fancy but the material is definitely cheap and does not last long. For the price, it’s definitely not worth it.
