Is this product safe for small dogs like a 10 lb terrier?

My dog is 14lbs. Would I give him 1/2 a chew?

For a pet weighing up to 50 pounds, give 1 chew daily. For a pet weighing 51-100 pounds, give 2 chews daily. For a pet weighing over 100 pounds, give 3 chews daily. It is recommended to give approximately 30 minutes before a known stress-causing event.

Can these be used for puppies when getting them ese to a crate?

It does calm him down

My dog bow is a Cushing’s dog and yes, he does take his meds, but I augment them with these treats. Before he got on the meds for Cushing’s, I used these instead

I was told to try these by my vet after we lost our soul pup and my other dog's best friend. His separation anxiety increased after we had to say goodbye to our girl, and he was grieving deeply with us. I started with a half dose, morning and evening, because he's so sensitive to meds of any kind. It does seem to calm him quite a bit and has stopped the new behavior patterns of pacing the house, moaning as if he were in pain (grief), and, in general, not sleeping as soundly. He has had zero issues in eating them as a "treat".

No effect even at double the dose

Have a senior beagle who gets agitated periodically, and a standard poodle with separation anxiety, and a visiting schnoodle who hyper focuses on my cats. The

Have a senior beagle who gets agitated periodically, and a standard poodle with separation anxiety, and a visiting schnoodle who hyper focuses on my cats. The bag instructs a double dose can be given if no effect from the regular dose. I've given it to all 3 dogs at various times, under a variety of circumstances, and the schnoodle still barks maniacally trying to get the cats to play chase. The beagle still barks compulsively for reasons that remain somewhat mysterious (she seems to get ravenously hungry periodically no matter what or when she's eaten - yes there have been vet visits and bloods, nothing dX'd). The poodle still jumps up and down frantically while whining to get to me when I am not within reach. I've tried all the doses. I've given on empty stomachs and full stomachs, different times of day, prior to triggering situations. Absolutely no difference. The dogs all eat them, so that's something. But I could have bought a lot more quality treats for the cost of this bag, with the same result.

I purchased this product on the recommendation of our veterinarian for one of my dogs that is developing storm anxiety as he ages. On the bag it tells you that you can give up to three times the dose if needed. Even at three times the dose, it does not do a thing for my dog’s storm fear. It smells good and must taste good because he wolfs it down like he’s never seen a treat before. I’m sure that it works for some dogs, just not mine.
