    Cat won't touch them!

By Catbarb on Jan 13, 2022

My 11-year-old cat was getting a little stiff when she got up. Vet suggested joint supplement treats. Well, it was a complete FAIL! They were way too big for her to eat. So, I broke one up into smaller pieces. She sniffed it, gave me a look and walked away. The other two came to check it out and did the same thing! They will eat other chewy treats, but not these!

Recommend yea but with a few suggestions

By Cattack on Dec 6, 2021

At first yes my 16 yr old cat with arthritis would eat these no problem, but then after a week or so she wouldn’t so I’ve had to figure out for her, when would be the best time to try and get her to eat them. First off, yes they can get a smidge harder and are a little big so I always cut it into four pieces so it’s much more doable for her. The two best times are either in the morning after we’ve had our morning bed cuddles and before she’s gotten off my bed, so I just had her purring and the other good time is at night after all her eating and evening treats and she’s gotten in her nighttime spot and I’ll get in and almost settled as well and pet her and again, kinda get her in that happy mood At first yes my 16 yr old cat with arthritis would eat these no problem, but then after a week or so she wouldn’t so I’ve had to figure out for her, when would be the best time to try and get her to eat them. beware if your cat is diabetic!

By Peewee on Dec 23, 2021

I bought these instead of the Royal Canin treats which are no longer available. But my little cat Peewee went into hyperglycemic shock two hours after I gave him 3 of these. Glyco means related to SUGAR!!! There is NO warning on the label or in the description and why are they making SUGAR treats for cats??? I threw them in the trash and saved my cat's life.

    Works for my cat

By Aaaa on Nov 14, 2021

These chews are big and kind if hard, but not crunchy. Luckily my kitty loves tough things. She always liked dog treats, like the jerky kind. I have 5 cats and only the one will eat these. Again, luckily she's the one that needs them and she loves them. Her joints were so bad she was licking the fur off her leg. After giving these all her fur has grown back. I also combine these with the cosequin treats.

    Not soft at all

By Spider on Nov 3, 2021

He couldn't even eat it. Was hard as a rock. I bought several similar items. They were all just way too hard for him to eat.

    To difficult to chew

By Jessica on Jul 27, 2021

These started out great for the first few days but then got to hard and my cat can't chew them. They are really big as well. I don't know if they work because she can't eat them.

    No! Thank you.

By Lila on Apr 28, 2021

Once again, my cats have refused to eat a VetriScience product. I don’t know why I keep allowing myself to get seduced into buying any of their products. Over the course of several years I have received recommendations from a veterinary professional to try various VetriScience cat chews specifically targeting a health concern. Most recently this one. Not once, not ever, have any of my cats consumed even one chew of any formula. I’m always hopeful and always disappointed. If I could give it zero stars I would. This will be the last time, as I think I now have at least six useless dried up bags of every type made in my discard hall of fame. Highly Recommend!!

By xtaytaymcqueenx on Mar 23, 2021

I’ve got an almost 15 year old cat(in may) and she’s had some bad arthritis in her right hind and hip area for awhile now. Took her to the vet they gave me Dasaquin advance chews, I tried them for a few months and they didn’t seem to do anything. She wasn’t able to really walk comfortably, or jump up or down. I had to do a lot in helping her with that. But then I found these and I won’t go back to Dasaquin! After the first few weeks of taking them I noticed a BIG difference in her! She WANTS to jump down and she uses her stairs to help her get up mostly on the bed. She comes downstairs more and she is more comfortable again. I just add them to her food since she’s on instinct dry food and she I’ve got an almost 15 year old cat(in may) and she’s had some bad arthritis in her right hind and hip area for awhile now. Cat joint chews

By Willowspaws on Mar 5, 2021

My fat cat has arthritis and is having a hard time walking. She is obsessed with food and this led to her obesity. These chews were recommended by her vet and she loves them. They are rather big and a little hard but she chomps them down like there’s no tomorrow. I noticed she wasn’t limping as much when walking so I think they are helping.
