I have 2 senior buns that have gotten picky about Timothy hay. The vet recommended oat and Alfalpha. I’ve gotten from another well know source but shipping takes longer and was more expensive. My 2 really like this hay. It is very fresh and has lot of leaves. As a bonus, the boxes have a little slit so you can close it!!

The alfalfa came in a bale tightly compacted. There was no scent, and it was very brittle when attempting to separate for feeding. There was scattered dust when separating. I have two mini lops, and neither were interested. I placed in rolling feeder for some extra stimulation, but both did not care for it. Even laid out in their play area did not entice them. Unfortunately my bunnies were not a fan. A positive was you get a good amount neatly packaged in a cardboard box, which is recyclable.

The hay is very green and smells very fresh. Our bunny enjoys this Timothy Hay; and she is really picky about her Timothy Hay.
