My Rottie is obsessed with balls. He has chewed up and destroyed every ball he has received.....until this one! He has had it for about 3 weeks now and plays with it every day. That being said, I do have to stop him sometimes because he kicks it around the yard so much, I'm afraid he will hurt his legs. He does sometimes lick his legs after playing. I would still buy this again or recommend it for dogs that destroy everything! Just get one big enough that they in no way can get their mouth around it!

I've had a couple of these balls for various dogs. Maybe it's just because the previous ball was a light-weight, 6", 'virtually indestructible ball' that finally cracked when it hit a rock, but this ball definitely seems on the heavy side. That said, we just call it his "olympic-size" ball. He still likes to push it around, and that's what counts.

This ball is very hard plastic and my dog can not get his teeth into it, but it’s also heavy. He was use to a lightweight herding type ball. The only thing about those are that the dog can get the zipper torn and also the inside bladder of the ball can be punctured. So, we gave this ball a try. Our dog doesn’t play with it much at all because it’s too heavy.

After reading the reviews I decided to purchase this toyfor my Mastiff. I also have two pits and cannot find a toy they can't immediately destroy. For $50 this toy was no different. It lasted ten minutes before he chewed giant holes in it! Save your $. I buy $10 toys that last longer.

Keeps their attention!

This is "nearly" indestructible. If you have a Rottweiler I suggest supervision. My Rottweilers LOVE this ball and crash it around with their shoulders and run it

This is "nearly" indestructible. If you have a Rottweiler I suggest supervision. My Rottweilers LOVE this ball and crash it around with their shoulders and run it around the yard. You need to watch, that because it is a HARD plastic, some POWER breeds WILL try and "pick this up" and dig grooves in the plastic with their teeth (hence the supervision) and can cause bleeding/sharp points once they puncture the ball. (Mine are just monsters!) :)

Virtually indestructible isn’t.

Gave this ball to Wulf to play with in the yard. Less than 5 mins later, he had managed to puncture it multiple times. Lot of money for 5 minutes. Not impressed

This is the first ball that my Labs did not destroy the first day. They play with this for hours and so far it has been indestructible. The only thing I did to it was seal off the casting hole--my dogs end up rolling it into the pond and it starts to fill with water so I sealed it off.

My dogs loved this ball. We played every single day with it. It finally came apart after leaving it outside in freezing weather year after year. They would push it thru the yard and slam it against trees rocks and the fence. The best ball ever. The other balls were chewed up. Not this one.

My German Shepard is not able to fit this ball into his mouth to chew it and it is too hard for him to bite it, so he rolls it around with his paws and nose which gives him a great workout. He will even use it by himself, bumping it around the yard.
