Where are these made? Are any ingredients from China?

These treats are made in the USA. Vita Bone makes every effort to purchase US ingredients, but on occasion it is necessary to import ingredients. These ingredients must meet all FDA, USDA & State Regulations. In addition Vita Bone require that they meet the ingredient specifications that they have set for that material, and they require strict inspection and testing prior to receiving any imported ingredient. While there are some components in their Vitamin & Mineral premix that originate from other countries (Vitamin B6 and Folic acid are only available from China). These vitamins and minerals are thoroughly tested to ensure their safety.
My dog is allergic to chicken should I find a different flavor?

These treats contain Chicken and would not be recommended for any dog with a Chicken allergy.
Can you please tell me if the animal fat listed in the nutritional info is sourced from beef, as my one dog is allergic? Thank you

The animal fat is rendered chicken fat there are no beef or beef by-products in the treats.
How large are the VITABONE BISCUIT DOG TREATS?

These treats are approximately 3.5 x 1.75 inches and ½ inch thick. They are 96 calories each.

so much smaller than before

These have always been a favorite of my Jack Russell, I can attest that the broken ones don’t count so unfortunately I toss out out a lot of the box :(. And this latest shipment - the biscuits are MUCH smaller, of course same as everything these days we pay more money for less product. It was humorous when my pup noticed the size change! Might have to look around for a new replacement.

Vita bones box

The box was opened and all but a few biscuits were whole. Maybe put the box in a plastic bag. I had to open the box outside so I wouldn't get the dust all over the place.

Favorite treat

Vita Bones have been a favorite with my dogs for years especially as they get older and can't manage the really hard biscuits. they're getting hard to find. Unfortunately, these were not protected in my last shipment so many of the biscuits were broken. The dogs will still enjoy.

Poorly packaged, had Indian meal moths

These bones were terribly packaged, the boxes were not completely sealed, crumbs and pieces of biscuits were falling out of the bottom of the boxes. Ended up getting Indian meal moth infestation from these biscuits which I’m still dealing with. Found larvae in the bottom of one of the boxes. I got other biscuits with this order, but they were sealed with tape AND had a plastic bag inside of box. Found NOTHING in there. Will never buy this brand again.

Don't waste your money

Daisy wouldn't even take the dog biscuit from me. She sniffed it and looked at me like I had insulted her. And she isn't that picky!

Large Biscuits Broken - Reduced to Kibble

I ordered 6 boxes of these Dog Biscuits (my dog's favorite). Every box, all the biscuits were completely broken - just crumbs. For my dogs, broken cookies don't count. And these were not even salvageable as cookies, just kibble. :(

Depends which dog you ask!

With our first golden retriever, this was the ONLY dog treat he would eat. Our second golden would eat anything! Now our current (third) golden turns his nose up at all dog treats. Bottom line -- all the other dogs in the neighborhood are loving the Vita Bones that our dog won't eat!
