My birds love these!
Good price and fast shipping. Per other reviews, a few were a bit crumbly but I just put the 'crumbs' in a treat cup so no waste!
Vitakraft Crunch Sticks
To be honest, my birds have NOT even bothered with this snack/treat at all! Not even a nibble. I put 1 up the day I received them. You can see when it was delivered and still nothing!
Birds love them, me..not so much.
I have two parakeets, Peep and Marshmallow. I have ordered these twice now for them, and they love them. I mean, they really love them. The problem I have is that when you get these, half of the seed is knocked off the stick and it's in the bag. I have had one or two that stayed in tact, but I was very disappointed the first time I ordered these when I saw most of the stick was bare. I dumped the seed from the bag into their dish so it didn't get wasted. I may try again because they love them so much, but for me, it feels like a waste.
Excellent Shipping
I had ordered the Vitakraft Crunch Sticks for my birds. They arrived crushed. I called Chewy and discussed it with a great Associate. I suggested wrapping each package separately in protective covering. This Associate reported my complaint and suggestion to Customer Service. I was provided with a new order, wrapped as I suggested and the Crunch Sticks were perfect! I praise Chewy for listening and quickly responding.
Bad shipping results
My cockatiel loves these so thought I would start ordering then finding in stores, but mine was shipped with a 35lb litter and they were under the litter when arrived so nothing left on the sticks when I got out of box, I think they need to be wrapped up before shipping and you wouldn't end up with a bag of seeds.

They don't hold on cage at all. My birds like it but I had to stick it in between the cage on a perch

Parakeet vita-sticks
If I could review this with zero stars I would. I ordered 9-- 3 pack vita-sticks and I only received 7, and 6 out of the 7 packs had the seeds broken right off of the sticks so completely Unusable. But they did replace all items for free.

On a good note, my birds love it on a bad note every time they peck at it and try to eat it. It seems like it just crumbles at the touch so for me it’s poorly put together they should try adding some type of organic honey or something to make it stick better because I’ve had other bird seed sticks, and they did not crumble all over the place the way that these do so I will not buy them again because of the mess. It makes maybe I’ll find something on Chewy that does not crumble at the touch. Other than that, like I said, they seem to love it the egg one they did not like that much.
