Is it safe to handle the food as a training treat? Washing hands during training not always an option until finished with training. I thinking the HPP process and freeze drying it makes it as safe for handling any dry food?

It is not fat-free. I gradually mixed my dog's regular meal (Instinct Freeze Dried Raw beef or chicken). However, combining more than four pieces made him experience diarrhea. So, I crushed three pieces of this with his regular meal because it has a beef smell and ta ste. I have struggled to feed my dog. He is a picky eater. But, so far, he is eating.

Admittedly, I have a 100 pound German Shepherd If you have a much smaller dog, this could be a good option for you. If you have a large dog, you better have lotsof cash on hand. I did compromise and mix it with some other food and he ate it all. So I guess it's not much of a discerning palate
