Vital Essentials Freeze-Dried Raw Pork Entree & Mixer Cat Food Crunchy Nibs, 8-oz bag

One of my cat has a lot of allergies, both food and environmental. I'm trying to get her on a pork diet, since I'm starting thinking maybe she is also allergic to poultry (or at least intolerant), but finding a pork based dry food with no other allergens is nearly impossible. She has been getting Vital Essentials patties, so I thought this would be a good addition to that since she loves the patties. I was wrong. She won't eat this. I don't know if it's because she doesn't like the flavor or if they are just too hard for her. I even tried putting them in water to soften them, but she still doesn't want to touch them. I was also disappointed when I saw how empty the bag was. 8 ounces is like 2 cups of these pieces, hardly worth the price if you are going to be feeding it regularly, which would last about a week. So you would basically need 4 bags a month, which is insane. I was going to try the new, soft nibs, but the price is even higher for those and I just don't think it's worth risking another wasted bag of food.
