Large BEEF Bone Shards !!??

My two cats went right for it and started eating it before I could break it up and add some water! So i give it 5 stars for taste. However ; there are large Beef

My two cats went right for it and started eating it before I could break it up and add some water! So i give it 5 stars for taste. However ; there are large Beef bone shards in these biscuits that I would not want my cats to swallow, also I found what looked like Hoof and Beak remnants among the in-edible shards. I would really like to know if this is normal for this product or a contamination ?
