What is the difference between the 5-in-1 coarse blade and the 5-in-1 fine blade?

The Wahl Coarse 5-in-1 Replacement Blade is meant to be used on animals with coarse hair. The Fine Blade cuts through tough hair, and can also be used for grooming needs including feet, face and finish work on all breeds of dogs as well as the face, ears, whiskers, bridle path, fetlocks and finish work on all horses.

Good quality clipper blade

I’m not a professional groomer but I like this clipper blade for light trimming on my Newfoundland. I mainly only use it for feet and shaving out mats. I don’t think

I’m not a professional groomer but I like this clipper blade for light trimming on my Newfoundland. I mainly only use it for feet and shaving out mats. I don’t think it would be good for clipping her entire coat (which I don’t do anyway). But it is good for what I use it for.

Works just as it should... cuts like butter with incredible texturing...

I was looking for a "texture" blade to use with textured frilly hair, but in order to do that without purchasing a whole new line of clippers and attachments, gasp!,

I was looking for a "texture" blade to use with textured frilly hair, but in order to do that without purchasing a whole new line of clippers and attachments, gasp!, this was my best bet. And it worked! I am using this on my huge poodle in the areas I want a close cut without a shave. Also note, mats were no match for this blade.
