Meh

Doesn’t really remove any hair, was worth a try. Can instead be used as a rather ‘blah’ sweat scraper

Works great!

This tool works great on dried mud and spring shedding. My horses turn into furry yetis over winter. This tool has made “spring cleaning” much easier.

This is such a handy tool. I have used another tool for years and was interested in one that would address larger areas at one time. It is a little difficult for tighter spots, but it is overall a great grooming tool that our horses enjoy. It's more gentle than its metal counterparts.

Better tools out there

I have a Gypsy/Clydesdale cross so he has a lot of hair. I like to try out different shedding tools at this time of the year to see what works well and what he responds to (want grooming to be a bonding experience so he needs to like the tool). This tool is kind of flimsy and it's not easier or better to use than a regular metal curry or metal shedding tool. Actually the metal shedding tool that is an oval shape and then you can pull it apart to make one long blade works better. I thought this one might be easier on the hands/wrists but I didn't really notice a difference. I personally like the SleekEz blade the best but if you're looking for a budget item, just go with the classic metal blade. Happy Grooming!
