The shed control shampoo from Wahl lathers up well. It takes very little shampoo to lather up my 45 lb beagle mix. It also rinses easily from his coat and left his coat shiny and silky. I think it did help some with his shedding. This is the first time trying a shed control shampoo so I don't know what to expect. Some shampoos make him itchy but I have not seen him scratching since we bathed him.

Will calm itching skin

My poodles do not shed but used this because of the ingredient of oatmeal. One of my poodles is constantly biting and licking his tummy and thought the oatmeal

My poodles do not shed but used this because of the ingredient of oatmeal. One of my poodles is constantly biting and licking his tummy and thought the oatmeal in the shampoo would relieve his itchy skin and I was right. He has stopped licking and biting as much. This shampoo smells wonderful. I cannot say anything about the shedding but I would repurchase for the oatmeal ingredient and the smell.
