Is there an option to mount the gate with hardware/using a drill instead of pressure mounting?

Sturdy enough for a cat

I got this item on sale and I do not think it is worth the full price tag of +$300. The welds are pretty sloppy with it only welded on two sides. It didn't come

I got this item on sale and I do not think it is worth the full price tag of +$300. The welds are pretty sloppy with it only welded on two sides. It didn't come with all of the parts mentioned in the instructions to make it more sturdy. According to chewy my only options were to return it (it's very heavy so not sure how that would have worked) or make do. It's sturdy enough to withstand my cat, but I'm a little worried about it not holding up to my exuberant dog.

Gate was difficult to install. Much patience required. It looks good once in place and keeps out cat on her side. The greatest challenge is opening the gate. You have to lift the gate door to unlock it and it is very heavy. My arms hurt from opening it. Also beware there is something to step over at bottom of the gate
